Danielle Batchelor
Co-President, Inventor
A graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, Danielle began her career at CBS in New York City. In 2000, she relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and joined Internet start-up Shockwave.com. Unlike many of her peers in Silicon Valley, Danielle stayed with the company for seven years and through two mergers/acquisitions. As Shockwave became AtomFilms and then MTV Networks, she advanced from a sales position to director of the global campaign and sponsorship management team.
While on maternity leave after the birth of her first child in 2006, Danielle visited a wine bar in Sonoma County with her son and husband. As she repeatedly bent to retrieve food and toys that had been dropped to the floor, the idea for Neatnik Saucer formed in Danielle’s mind and began to shape her future as a mom entrepreneur.
Cookie Centracco
Co-President, Inventor
A serial entrepreneur with a doctorate in French Literature, Cookie Centracco knows a good idea when she sees one. Her first business adventure began in 1979 when she met the inventor of a new game called Pente. She became a founding partner of Pente Games, Inc., and in less than four years grew the company from a one-employee operation to the point at which over two million games had been sold and the rights to Pente were purchased by Parker Brothers, Inc.
In 1983, Cookie founded Zagal, Inc, a jewelry company specializing in hand-made sterling and semi-precious stones. Under Cookie’s management, Zagal designs received widespread recognition for their bold geometric look and were photographed for Vogue. The line was sold by leading luxury retailers, including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman.
An avid patron of the performing arts, Cookie co-produced Squonk Opera (Bigsmorgasbordwunderwerk), the first performance art musical to arrive on Broadway.
When her daughter, Danielle, decided to solve the chronic baby mess problem, Cookie just had to jump on board.
